Did You Buy Correx Floor Protection From Florprotec?

Quick answer: If you previously bought correx floor protection or t-board from Florprotec and are now looking for a reliable replacement supplier, Indigo Supplies stocks the same type of corrugated plastic sheets and rolls, including fire retardant correx to LPS 1207. We've been supplying UK businesses since 1998.

If you've recently typed "Florprotec" into Google and landed here, there's a good chance you're one of many trade customers left searching for a new source of correx floor protection. Florprotec built a solid reputation supplying correx t-board to the construction and trade sector, but the company has now stopped trading. For businesses who relied on that supply chain, this leaves an obvious gap — and a fairly urgent one if you've got a refurbishment or fit-out project with floors that need protecting.

That's where we come in. We're Indigo Supplies, and correx floor protection has been one of our core product ranges since the business was established in 1998. We understand that switching suppliers mid-project is nobody's idea of fun, so we've put together this guide to help former Florprotec customers find exactly what they need — quickly, and without the headache.

What is correx t-board, and why does it matter for floor protection?

Correx t-board (sometimes spelled "corex") is a lightweight, corrugated plastic board used to protect floors, worktops, and other surfaces during construction, renovation, and refurbishment work. It's durable, waterproof, and easy to cut to size, which is why it's become the industry standard for temporary floor protection across the UK trade sector.

Correx is typically supplied in two formats:

• Correx sheets – pre-cut boards, ideal for smaller or irregular areas
• Correx rolls – continuous rolls that unwind across larger floor areas, reducing the number of joints and seams

Both formats do the same essential job: shielding flooring from scratches, spills, dust, and foot traffic while works are carried out.

What happened to Florprotec?

Florprotec was a well-known name in the correx floor protection space, supplying t-board and related products to trade customers across the country. The company has now stopped trading, which means customers who previously relied on Florprotec for their correx supplies need a new, dependable source.

If this applies to you, you're not alone — and the good news is that switching suppliers doesn't have to mean switching standards. Indigo Supplies offers the same core product range, often with faster turnaround and the same fire retardant specifications you'd expect.

Does Indigo Supplies offer the same correx products as Florprotec?

Yes. As a main UK supplier of correx floor protection, Indigo Supplies carries a comprehensive range designed to match (and in many cases exceed) what customers were used to sourcing elsewhere. Our range includes:

• Standard correx sheets – available in black and white, in a range of sizes
• Correx rolls – for covering large areas efficiently with fewer joins
• Fire retardant correx – manufactured to meet LPS 1207, the recognised standard for fire-retardant temporary protection materials
• Printed correx and custom printed correx – branded with your company logo or project signage, useful for larger contractors who want their protection boards doing double duty as a marketing tool
• Corrugated plastic for signage and general-purpose applications beyond flooring

Choose standard correx if you're after an everyday, cost-effective option for general construction and trade use. Choose fire retardant correx (LPS 1207) if your project has specific fire safety requirements, which is increasingly the case on commercial sites and in buildings with stricter compliance needs.

Why switch to Indigo Supplies for your correx floor protection?

We know trust is earned, not assumed — especially when you're moving away from a supplier you'd built a relationship with. Here's what sets us apart:

• Established since 1998: We're not new to this. Temporary floor and surface protection is one of our main specialisms, alongside adhesive tapes and packaging supplies.
• Price beater guarantee: Found the same product cheaper elsewhere? Let us know, and we'll do our utmost to beat it.
• 5-star Google rating: Our customers consistently rate us highly, which speaks for itself.
• Both sheets and rolls: Whatever format you previously ordered, we can match it.
• Fire retardant to LPS 1207: If compliance mattered to you before, it still does to us.
• Custom printing available: Want your correx working as hard as the rest of your marketing? We can print it to order.

We stock our core correx range, including both standard and fire retardant correx sheets and rolls, ready for order. For businesses mid-project and needing floor protection urgently, this means you're not left waiting around while your subfloor sits exposed. Custom printed correx typically requires a short lead time for artwork and production, so it's worth getting in touch early if branding is part of your order.

Frequently asked questions

Is correx the same as t-board?
Yes. "T-board" is a common trade term for correx corrugated plastic floor protection board. Florprotec customers who ordered "t-board" were ordering what we simply call correx.

What's the difference between correx and corex?
Nothing — "corex" is simply an alternative spelling of correx, used interchangeably by many in the trade.

Do you supply fire retardant correx to LPS 1207?
Yes. Our fire retardant correx range meets LPS 1207, the recognised standard for fire performance in temporary protection materials, making it suitable for commercial and compliance-sensitive sites.

Can I get correx in rolls instead of sheets?
Yes, we supply both correx rolls and correx sheets, so you can choose whichever format suits your project and reduces waste on larger floor areas.

Can I get my logo printed on correx?
Yes. Our custom printed correx service lets you add your company branding or site signage directly onto the floor protection boards, so you get coverage and visibility in one product.

I previously ordered from Florprotec — can you match my order?
In most cases, yes. Get in touch with our team with details of your previous order (sheet or roll, standard or fire retardant, size), and we'll help you find the closest match from our range.
