Daltex Fire Retardant LPS 1207 Grey Breathable Floor Protection

When it comes to protecting your floors on site, you don't want to cut corners — and with Daltex Fire Retardant LPS 1207 Grey Breathable Floor Protection, you won't have to. Built to meet the rigorous LPS 1207 fire retardant certification, this is heavy-duty floor protection that takes safety seriously without slowing your team down. Whether you're running a full commercial fit-out or a single-room residential renovation, this is the covering that gets the job done right.

Tough, reliable, and surprisingly easy to work with, Daltex LPS 1207 is trusted by tradespeople across construction, refurbishment, and specialist contracting. It handles heavy foot traffic, dropped tools, spills, dust, and debris without flinching — all while its breathable design quietly does something most floor protection products fail to do: lets moisture escape rather than trap it underneath.

That might sound like a small detail. It isn't. Trapped moisture is one of the leading causes of floor damage during building works, causing warping, staining, and mold growth beneath the surface. With Daltex, that risk is eliminated. Your floors go down protected and come up in exactly the condition they were in before the work started. No nasty surprises. No costly repairs. Just clean, undamaged floors — exactly what your clients expect.

Why Choose Daltex LPS 1207?

Not all floor protection is created equal. Here's what makes this product stand out from the crowd:

• LPS 1207 Fire Retardant Certified — Meets one of the most demanding fire safety standards in the industry, making it suitable for use in hot works areas, high-risk environments, and sites where fire safety compliance is non-negotiable.
• Breathable Construction — Allows trapped moisture to escape naturally, preventing warping, staining, and mold growth beneath the surface — the problem most protection products create rather than solve.
• Heavy-Duty Durability — Built to handle the daily punishment of busy construction and renovation sites, including heavy foot traffic, wheeled equipment, and constant use by multiple trades.
• Easy to Install and Remove — Rolls out smoothly across large areas and lifts away cleanly once the job is done. No adhesive residue, no wrestling with the material, no wasted time.
• Professional Grey Finish — A clean, neutral appearance that looks the part on any professional job site.
• Versatile and Widely Compatible — Suitable for use on a broad range of floor types and surfaces, from subfloors to freshly laid finishes.

Uses and Applications

Daltex Fire Retardant LPS 1207 Grey Breathable Floor Protection is a go-to solution across a wide range of industries and project types. Here's where it earns its keep:

• Construction and New Build Sites — Lay it across subfloors and finished surfaces to protect against debris, tools, heavy equipment, and the general wear of a busy site.
• Commercial Fit-Outs — Keep newly installed flooring pristine in offices, retail units, restaurants, and hospitality venues while fixtures and fittings are put in place.
• Residential Renovations — Protect homeowners' floors during kitchen remodels, bathroom upgrades, extensions, and whole-home refurbishments. Keep clients happy and callbacks to a minimum.
• Hot Works Zones — Use with confidence in areas where welding, soldering, grinding, or other spark-producing work takes place. The LPS 1207 certification means this product is built for exactly these situations.
• Multi-Trade Projects — When multiple teams are working through the same space, corridor, or room, this covering handles the traffic and keeps the floor beneath it safe throughout.
• High-Traffic Walkways and Access Routes — Protect entry points, corridors, and stairwells where constant movement would otherwise cause significant surface wear.
• Event and Exhibition Setups — Temporarily shield venue flooring during the build and breakdown of exhibitions, trade shows, and event installations.
• Equipment Staging and Storage Areas — Place it beneath heavy plant, machinery, or stacked materials to prevent scuffing, crushing, or long-term surface damage.
• Hospitality and Heritage Projects — Ideal for sensitive environments where protecting existing flooring — including tiles, stone, hardwood, and specialist finishes — is essential.
• Insurance Repair and Restoration Work — When restoring or repairing properties, keeping undamaged floors protected throughout the process is critical. Daltex makes that easy.

Who Is It For?

This product is designed for professionals who need floor protection that matches the pace and demands of real site work. That includes:

• Specialist Subcontractors — Electricians, plumbers, decorators, and flooring installers who need to protect the surfaces they work around.
• Site Managers and Health & Safety Officers — The LPS 1207 certification gives you documented, verifiable fire safety compliance without extra effort.

It's not just floor protection. It's one less thing to worry about on site — and on a busy project, that counts for a lot.
